At least 64 new kindergartens and 37 schools have been opened in Kyrgyzstan since the beginning of 2022. Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Nadira Dzhusupbekova, told at a press conference.
According to her, all forms of pre-school education covered 48.6 percent of children at the age of 3-6. At least 23.9 percent are kindergartens, which is 1.9 percent more than in 2021. «64 new kindergartens have been opened, which made it possible to cover 4,000 more children,» she said.
Number of schools increased by 37, but at the same time, the number of school-age children increased by almost 50,000.
