Doctors from Kazakhstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan to operate on patients in Bishkek

Leading surgeons from Kazakhstan, Turkey and Uzbekistan will operate on complex urological patients in Bishkek. Candidate of Medical Sciences, urologist Zufar Khakimkhodzhaev told 24.kg news agency.

According to him, within the framework of Topical Issues in Urology International Scientific and Practical Conference, well-known doctors will conduct master classes in high-tech operations at the Scientific Center for Urology at the National Hospital of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.

«Laparoscopic operations have been actively introduced in urology in recent years in Kyrgyzstan. We prepared five patients for the arrival of doctors, including patients with prostate cancer and kidney tumor. Our doctors will assist and train,» Zufar Khakimkhodzhaev said.

The conference will be held on September 29-30 in the Congress Hall of the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy and will be dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the Hero of the Kyrgyz Republic, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic Mambet Mamakeev.

During his almost seventy years of work, he performed more than 30,000 surgical interventions, consulted and treated about 100,000 the most severe patients with various surgical pathologies. He developed and implemented in Kyrgyzstan a number of new and highly effective methods of treating surgical patients. He entered the Guinness Book of Records for the longest surgical career.

The purpose of the conference is to improve the exchange of scientific and practical experience between specialists working in the field of urology and men’s health.
