A foreigner was detained in Sokuluk district of Kyrgyzstan for stealing money on board an aircraft. Press service of the Central Internal Affairs Department of Chui region reported.
According to it, a citizen of the Russian Federation applied to the police department with a statement, from whom $6,700 was stolen on the night of September 7 on board Istanbul — Bishkek flight.
A criminal case has been initiated under article 205 (theft) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
A 38-year-old citizen of China was detained on suspicion of committing a crime. The investigation continues.
