Schools in Kyrgyzstan will receive computers and sanitation supplies from the Government of Japan. Press service of the Ministry of Education and Science reported.
As part of a project funded by the Government of Japan, UNICEF donated 11 computers and sanitation supplies for the prevention of COVID-19 to school No. 88 in Bishkek.
UNICEF will equip 100 schools with computers for a total of $600,000, and another 460 educational institutions will get thermometers, hand dryers, disinfectants and soaps for disease prevention and combating COVID-19 for a total of $800,000. In addition, all schools will be provided with information materials on personal hygiene and coronavirus prevention.
