At least 11 educational facilities have been put into operation by the new academic year in Kyrgyzstan. Press service of the Ministry of Education and Science reported.
Five of the new facilities are schools. In total, 2,340 schools will work in the republic this year.
«More than 160,000 children will go to the first grade. The school year begins for 1.3 million students and 82,724 teachers,» the ministry added.
Construction of 15 schools and one kindergarten is being completed in Bishkek at the expense of the republican budget. Two objects — schools No. 98 and No. 10 have already been put into operation. The rest are scheduled to be completed by September 15.
