Members of the United Opposition Movement reacted to the last interview of the President of Kyrgyzstan, where he touched upon the topic of Kumtor.
They demand to make the full text of the recently signed settlement agreement between the Canadian company Centerra Gold and Kyrgyzstan public, as well as report who signed the contract on behalf of the parties and on what terms the agreements were reached.
The oppositionists also insist on the publication of the conclusion of the international audit company Ernst & Young and the results of the work of the state special environmental commission, which was created by a government decree dated May 10, 2022 in connection with the movement of the walls of the open pit.
Members of the movement demanded from the Parliament to openly hear the report of the head of the executive branch, Sadyr Japarov, on Kumtor at the first session after the summer break.
