President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov received the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Sentop. Press service of the head of state reported.
The parties exchanged views on topical issues of bilateral cooperation, including the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation. The President stressed that the Kyrgyz and Turkish peoples share common values in culture and traditions.
«We are always ready to develop our bilateral relations,» Sadyr Japarov said.
He also recalled that the next World Nomad Games will be held in the Turkish town of Iznik in autumn. Kyrgyzstan is also going to participate in the Games and is ready to help in organizational matters.
Mustafa Sentop arrived in Kyrgyzstan at the head of a parliamentary delegation to the 11th plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic Speaking Countries (TURKPA). He assured that cooperation with Kyrgyzstan is developing at a good pace, including in the trade and economic sector.
