Turkish investors are ready to spend more than $50 million on the restoration of Kadamdzhai antimony and Khaidarkan mercury plants. It was announced at the meeting of representatives of the Central Committee of the Mining and Metallurgical Trade Union of Kyrgyzstan with investors and management of the enterprises.
Duvatash company is already cooperating with the enterprises. Restoration work has begun in the production shops, an agreement has been reached on the joint development of Ak-Tash, Altyn-Zhylga, as well as debts on wages and obligatory deductions are being paid off.
«We have already ordered special pumps for pumping water from the mine of Khaidarkan Mercury Combine, work is going on in the oxygen shop and at the asphalt and concrete plant. In addition, a mini HPP of the antimony plant is being built,» Eldar Tadzhibaev, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Mining and Metallurgical Trade Union, told.
