Altyn Balalyk rehabilitation center officially opened in Cholpon-Ata

Altyn Balalyk health-improving and rehabilitation center was opened in Cholpon-Ata. The building has been idle for 17 years, construction work began in the fall of 2021 after a charity marathon.

It houses a medical-rehabilitation and health-improving departments, a clinical diagnostic laboratory, as well as a boarding house for children and parents. Sports and entertainment facilities were also created on the territory of the center, including playgrounds for national games.

Since September 2021, about 15 operations have already been performed in the center. Children with heart diseases are mostly treated in the center.

President Sadyr Japarov visited the center as part of his working trip. He congratulated everyone on the official opening of the facility. According to the head of state, a little work is to be completed for the full functioning of the center. It will take about 15 days.

Earlier, the Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev noted that the center was being built by his son Mar Beishenaliev, who sold several cottages to finance the construction.
