President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov visited an innovative greenhouse of In-water Solution Agro LLC, located in Issyk-Ata district of Chui region.
The President was demonstrated the technology of growing agricultural crops and production innovations introduced in the greenhouse complex, and was also told about the main activities of the company.
The founder is the agricultural corporation In-Water Solutions, which is a subsidiary of Sungkyunkwan University Technology Holdings Inc. (the Republic of Korea).
According to the presidential press service, more than $6 million of direct investments from Korea have been attracted to Kyrgyzstan. Thanks to the smart farm, where greenhouses are built using innovative technologies, it is possible to increase the export of agricultural products to other CIS countries.
In the next two years, the company plans to raise more than $10 million for the development of greenhouse agriculture, where new jobs will be created, farmers will be trained and qualified in this direction.
There are plans to create an advanced agro-industrial complex, which includes a logistics center, a distribution center, a center for sorting agricultural products, and a compost plant.
Sadyr Japarov instructed the relevant state bodies to provide all possible support to the company’s representatives.
He drew attention to the fact that food security is one of the most pressing topics in the world. According to market requirements, agricultural products must be supplied not only in the season, but all year round. In this regard, the state will continue to pay close attention and provide the necessary assistance to such enterprises, farmers, as this is a source of employment for the population and exports of products.
In turn, the investor emphasized that agriculture occupies a special place in Kyrgyzstan and therefore Korea focuses on the development of bilateral relations in this area.
