Kazakhstan lifts restrictions on crossing land border with Kyrgyzstan

Kazakhstan will lift restrictions on crossing the land border with Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan on April 11. Vlast.kz reports.

It is noted that the decision was made by the interdepartmental commission for prevention and spread of coronavirus infection in Kazakhstan, taking into account stabilization of the epidemiological situation. It applies to citizens of Kazakhstan as well as foreigners and stateless persons.

All restrictions on crossing the state border by air are also lifted.

At the same time, the requirement for mandatory presentation of a certificate with a negative result of PCR test for COVID-19 or a document/certificate confirming completion of a full course of vaccination, revaccination against COVID-19 for Kazakhstanis and foreigners, who have a residence permit on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and foreign citizens with mutual recognition of vaccination certificates remains in force.
