Bishkek budget increased to 15 billion soms

The budget of Bishkek has been increased to 15 billion soms. It was announced at a session of Bishkek City Council.

As the First Vice Mayor of the capital Mirlan Baigonchokov noted, the municipality increases the budget by 3.3 billion soms. «Of these, 1.8 billion — at the expense of tax revenues, and we plan to receive 2 billion through the Municipal Property Management Department,» he said.

Mirlan Baigonchokov agreed that the City Hall has put forward an ambitious plan, but, in his opinion, it is quite feasible.

«They began to replace leaders, to attract more ambitious ones. I agree that there are risks, so we put this amount — about 3.8 billion soms in the expenditure part, in «accumulated financial resources» item. As additional sources are received, we will use them in agreement with the Bishkek City Council,» he said.

The draft budget of the capital is balanced. Earlier it was reported that the revenue part is planned in the amount of 11,690 billion soms.
