The Kyrgyz-Chinese border will be closed tomorrow. The Department of Information and Communications of the Border Service of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
According to it, Torugart and Irkeshtam checkpoints will temporarily suspend passage of vehicles and goods at the initiative of the Chinese side in connection with the celebration of the Qingming Festival.
The checkpoints will resume work on April 6 according to the previously approved algorithm, which provides for the passage of goods and cargo only.
