Representatives of six CSTO countries discuss drug control in Osh city

Meeting of the working group on organizing anti-drug operations was held in Osh city under the chairmanship of the First Deputy Head of the Main Directorate for Drug Control of Russia Kirill Smurov. Press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation reported.

According to it, the event was attended by representatives of law enforcement agencies of Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, as well as the CSTO Secretariat.

The meeting participants discussed issues of combating drug trafficking in the regions of collective security. They noted the need for close coordination of efforts of the competent authorities of the CSTO member states.
