Construction of apartment building for medical workers starts in Bishkek

Construction of an apartment building for medical workers has begun in Bishkek. Press center of the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan reported.

According to its data, the house is located at the intersection of Baityk Baatyr and Suerkulov Streets; the object is planned to be commissioned approximately in April-May 2023.

«Framing of an 8-storey house stood ready, it is planned to raise it to the 12th floor,» the ministry told.

The Minister of Health Adymkadyr Beishenaliev noted that before the end of construction works the ministry would determine the order of receiving housing by medical workers. «We are witnessing a historical moment, houses for medical workers have never been built before. At the first stage, it is planned to finish the construction of one house. When funding sources are determined, the next phases will include construction of another house,» he said.

Earlier, Alymkadyr Beishenaliev reported that he would build this house at his own expense. According to him, he and his family sold 130 cottages in Issyk-Kul region.
