The Chui District Court found a man guilty of raping his stepdaughter. A lawyer Esenia Ramazanova told 24.kg news agency.
According to her, the victim is 16 years old. Her stepfather married her mother when she was three years old.
«The accused adopted the girl, gave her his last name. Two more children were born in the family. According to some reports, he raped the girl from the age of nine, she is 16 now. The girl allegedly told her relatives about the abuse, but they did not believe her. She later managed to escape to a distant relative. The girl told her and showed traces of sperm. Examination confirmed the fact of violence. The defense asked to sentence the accused to life imprisonment. The court sentenced the man to 18 years in prison,» Esenia Ramazanova told.
