Ukraine filed a lawsuit against Russia in the International Court of Justice (ICJ). The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced on his Twitter account.
Earlier it was reported that a delegation from the Russian Federation was waiting for negotiations with Ukraine in Belarus, they arrived in the city of Gomel. However, Volodymyr Zelensky does not agree to meet on the specified territory.
Today is the fourth day of Russia’s military operation in Ukraine. It started on February 24, 2022. On February 25, fighting took place in the north, south and east of the country. Some cities are either blocked or captured. The number of casualties among the military and civilians continues to grow. Western states impose tough sanctions against the Russian Federation, but they refused to fight in Ukraine.
On February 26, the Spokesman for the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that the military operation would continue after Ukraine refused to negotiate.
