President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with the heads of governments — participants of the regular meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, which is taking place in Nur-Sultan (Kazakhstan).
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov, who chairs the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council this year. The parties discussed in detail the issues of further strengthening and development of integration processes in the Eurasian space, the need to eliminate existing controversial issues, strengthen cooperation and restore the economies of the member countries in the post-pandemic period.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev wished Kyrgyzstan a successful chairmanship of the bodies of the Union in 2022.
