At least 1,000 tons of drought-resistant wheat seeds will be delivered to Kyrgyzstan from Kazakhstan. Press service of the Ministry of Agriculture reported.
«The new wheat variety Karabalykskaya 20 is adapted to drought and will be sold at a price of 45.3 soms. It will be allocated to seed farms and agricultural producers through Aiyl Bank (as agreed) at a rate of 4.5 percent, regardless of the previous loan, as well as up to 300,000 soms without collateral for two years,» the statement says.
At present, bags of wheat seeds, 50 kilograms each, are fully loaded into the wagons. The first batch is in the State Material Reserves Fund. The cargo is expected to arrive at the central base in Bishkek and Balykchy by March 5.
