The inflow of investments in 2021 was twice as high compared to last year. Acting head of the Agency for Promotion of Investments Nuradil Bayasov announced at the press lunch «Investment climate in Kyrgyzstan».
«Last year we drew up 20 investment agreements and we expect their implementation to begin this year,» he said.
According to him, investors from Germany are expected to arrive in the Kyrgyz Republic in May 2022, and an EAEU forum will be held with the participation of 200 businessmen.
«Negotiations are underway in India, Korea, Turkey, the United States, and we have to look for new markets for development, attracting investment and increasing exports. Eight contracts have been drawn up on exports from Kyrgyzstan,» Nuradil Bayasov said.
The official expressed hope that the development of the draft law on Investments will be completed this year.
«We have developed a strategy — a program to attract investment, having chosen priority countries and directions,» he said.
