The Republican Diagnostic Centre in Bishkek resumed its work. Press service of the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy reported.
The center provides diagnostic services: ultrasound examination, ECG, EchoCG, 24-hour ECG monitoring, EEG, EchoEG, REG, gastroscopy, colonoscopy and X-ray examination. In addition, ophthalmologists, ENT doctors, gastroenterologists, dermatologists, endocrinologists and physiotherapists see patients.
Earlier, the Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev announced that clinical sites of the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy (KSMA) would be opened in the Republican Diagnostic Center and Ak-Keme hotel.
It became known on November 15,2021 that the Republican Diagnostic Center will be liquidated. It was an initiative of the Head of Ministry of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev. Later, the ministry’s press center said that the reorganization of the center into a 240-bed children’s multidisciplinary hospital had begun. But in February, the President Sadyr Japarov visited the center and instructed its management to continue its activities as a diagnostic center and to work out the issue of giving it the status of a national one.
