Initiative of Kyrgyzstan on mutual recognition of certificates of vaccination against COVID-19 when traveling through the territory of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) was considered at a meeting of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) on February 19. The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
It is specified that in order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection, the EEC has been instructed to prepare a list of documents mutually recognized in the union countries.
In addition, the decision of the EEC Council established import duty rates of the single customs tariff of the EAEU in respect of certain types of internal combustion engines, as well as in respect of certain types of filaments.
The results of implementation of the pilot project and preparations for the general process «Formation, maintenance and use of information system on hazardous products» have been also considered. The EEC Council amended the list of products (goods) subject to state sanitary and epidemiological surveillance at the customs border and customs territory of the EAEU. These amendments make it possible to cancel registration of plant protection products (pesticides) for private farms for compliance with the unified sanitary, epidemiological and hygienic requirements for products (goods) subject to control.
The parties approved the decision to hold the Eurasian Economic Union Day on May 29 every year.
