Queue of migrants in Moscow: Medical examination every 3 months not required

Consul of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Russia Almaz Bukalaev visited the multifunctional migration center Sakharovo to get acquainted with the procedure for passing a medical examination, fingerprint registration and photographing. Earlier, 24.kg news agency reported about huge queues of migrants who had to wait for the relevant certificates from early morning until late evening.

According to the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation, the Consul met with the Director General of the migration center Sergei Baldin, during which he expressed the concern of the diplomatic mission in connection with the received complaints of citizens of Kyrgyzstan about long queues.

Almaz Bukalaev and Sergei Baldin went through all the stages of mandatory procedures in order to get acquainted with how this happens.

Migrants receive services in Sakharovo center (registration, licenses, work permits, citizenship, payment of fines, obtaining ready-made documents, etc.). On average, about 4,000-5,000 foreign citizens are serviced there every day.

According to the Embassy, up to 500 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic apply to the center daily.

«The photograph sent out on social media was indeed taken against the background of the migration center when passing the checkpoint into the territory during the peak hours.

According to the center, for various reasons, this situation sometimes develops due to the simultaneous accumulation of a huge number of visitors. At the same time, a clear and precise algorithm for passing procedures operates inside the center. On average, it takes three hours to receive all the necessary services, during peak hours — up to five to six hours,» the diplomatic mission informed.

The Embassy recommends visiting the center from 1.30 p.m. After lunch, the queues are significantly reduced.

Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who arrived in Moscow and the Moscow Oblast for the purpose of employment should pass a medical examination at the migration center only.

Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, including those with minor children over six years old, who arrived for other purposes (study, private visit, business trip) for a period of more than 30 days, can undergo a medical examination at 13 medical institutions in Moscow (the list and addresses of medical institutions are available on the center’s website).

According to the clarifications of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, there is no need to undergo a medical examination every three months.

Fingerprint registration and photographing is carried out only once. When re-entering the territory of Russia, there is also no need to go through these procedures again.

Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who arrived in Russia before December 29, 2021 are completely exempt from the obligation to undergo a medical examination. At the same time, those who wish can undergo fingerprint registration and photographing procedures.

In case of coercion of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, who arrived in the Russian Federation before December 29, 2021, by employees of the territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia to undergo a medical examination, it is necessary to file a complaint with the Main Directorate for Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the prosecution authorities of Russia or the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation.
