Information appeared on social media that a two-year-old boy died in one of the hospitals in Bishkek. The cause of death is burns, which he could have received due to domestic violence. The press service of the Central Internal Affairs Department of the Chui region confirmed the death of the minor to 24.kg news agency.
The police did not specify the reason for the fatal injuries.
«On February 15, the Department of Internal Affairs of Sokuluk district received a message that a resident of the district born in 2019 was brought to the Clinical Emergency Hospital with burns. He died on the same day. According to the preliminary version, the child received the burns from a heating device,» the department informed.
The police said that an investigation has been launched into the death of the minor. Necessary examinations have been scheduled to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
The press service of the Ministry of Health did not confirm the death of the child.
