Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan plans to automate receipt of three certificates. The Deputy Minister of Health Bakyt Dzhangaziev told at a press conference.
He noted that the foundations were laid for the development of digital healthcare in 2021. «A digital health profile has been developed, which collects basic data about a patient’s health: insurance status, reasons for visiting an outpatient clinic or hospitalization, laboratory results, and so on. With its help, we were able to automate the receipt of certificates of non-registration at psychoneurological and narcological dispensaries. About 90,000 such certificates have been issued in total for 2021,» he noted.
Bakyt Dzhangaziev added that a laboratory information system has also been developed. «The pandemic has shown that it is necessary to reduce the burden on the healthcare system and minimize the number of human contacts with the system. For example, obtaining of test results can be automated. We have already started introducing this system in polyclinics of the capital. Then we plan to use it all over the republic,» he added.
The Deputy Minister added that there were also developed systems for registration of vaccinated persons, health resource management. The latter will allow to keep detailed description of all healthcare institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic: information about staff, units, staffing, property, buildings, number of beds and etc.
«We have set several objectives for this year. In particular, to fully introduce these systems, to finalize the digital health card, which is now being tested, and the system of traceability of medicines and medical products, as well as to digitize internal processes in the Department of Medicines, the issuance of licenses for pharmaceutical and medical activities. Another task is to automate the receipt of all possible certificates. Now we see four certificates issuance of which need to be automated: 083 — for getting driver’s license, 086 — for admission to universities and employment, 088 — registration of disability and also digitization of temporary disability certificates,» Bakyt Dzhangaziev added.
