The Mongolian Hunnu Air airline plans to open Ulaanbaatar — Bishkek — Ulaanbaatar flight from March 6. The Department of Civil Aviation reported.
Director of the department Alexander Nastaev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Kyrgyzstan Gankhuyag Sodnom.
Opening of regular flights between the Kyrgyz Republic and Mongolia were discussed at the meeting.
Hunnu Air CEO Munkhjargal Purevjal expressed interest in operating flights to Turkey and India. He also announced plans to launch flights once a week on Ulaanbaatar — Bishkek — Ulaanbaatar route from March 6.
Alexander Nastaev noted that the Department of Civil Aviation would provide all possible assistance in opening the flights.
The Mongolian side was offered to consider opening of flights to Osh and Issyk-Kul International Airports, as well as cooperation with Kyrgyz airlines.
