At least 12 kilograms of cannabis were confiscated from men at the Kazakh-Kyrgyz border. Press center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) reported.
On February 3, two Kyrgyzstanis were detained in Amanbaevo area of Kara-Buura district while trying to smuggle narcotic drugs across the state border. One of them has already been prosecuted for the illegal sale of narcotic drugs.
Three plastic bags with a total weight of about 12 kilograms with a dark green substance, having a specific smell (cultivated Indian hemp), were found during the search.
