Rising prices for fuel and lubricants make an additional contribution to inflation in 2022. The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan reports.
It is noted that the dynamics of inflation in the republic remains under the influence of non-monetary factors. As of January 21, the cost growth in annual terms reached 11.1 percent.
Since the beginning of the year, prices in the country have increased by 0.9 percent.
«The main pressure on the price dynamics is exerted by the continuing rise in prices on world food markets and the planned increase in excise taxes on alcohol and tobacco products in January,» the National Bank stresses.
