Officers of the Department for Combating Organized Crime of the Department of Internal Affairs of Batken region detained a man registered as a member of an organized criminal group. Press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
«Information was received that a local resident in Batken was storing narcotic substances in his home. As part of the pre-trial proceedings, investigative and operational activities were carried out. The police officers established the identity of the suspect. It was previously convicted 55-year-old A.R.,» the statement reads.
The detainee has 11 convictions under such articles as extortion, causing serious harm to health, hooliganism and others.
