Rally in support of Kamchybek Tashiev's brother held in Bishkek

A rally in support of the brother of the head of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan Kamchybek Tashiev, deputy Shairbek Tashiev, is held near the White House in Bishkek.

Eight people said that Shairbek Tashiev was elected by the people and he has no right to give up his mandate.

Kushtarbek Kydyraliev, a participant of the rally, said that people from all seven regions of the country came to take part in the rally.

«20,000 people elected Shairbek Tashiev. Why should he leave because of two «worms»? His brother also has no right to say that he has to give up his mandate. If necessary, the people elect, the people remove the deputies. Leave our deputy alone, let him work for five years,» Kushtarbek Kydyraliev said.

Another participant, Uulai Shadiyeva, said that the protesters would not leave until Shairbek Tashiev came out to them.

Earlier, the Chairman of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Tashiev said that his brother Shairbek Tashiev would give up his deputy mandate. He explained this by the fact that there should be one politician in the family.
