Heads of higher education institutions of Kyrgyzstan were warned of strict measures for non-compliance with licensing standards. Press service of the Ministry of Education reported.
The ministry initiated a check of the level of academic honesty, compliance of the activities of educational institutions with licensing standards and formed a commission for this, which will operate permanently.
During a meeting of the Minister of Education Bolotbek Kupeshev with the rectors of universities and colleges, he warned that next time they would take more severe measures against the heads of educational institutions if the violations identified by the commission were repeated.
It is recommended to tighten control over the work of structural units to avoid corruption risks, including checking class attendance, presence of students at the exam.
