Ex-deputy of Parliament of Kyrgyzstan Baktybek Kalmamatov was placed under house arrest. Lawyer Aiym Kamchibekova told 24.kg news agency.
According to her, the Bishkek City Court made such a decision today.
Baktybek Kalmamatov was escorted off the aircraft at Manas airport at night and taken to the State Committee for National Security on December 22.
The press center of the state committee reported that Baktybek Kalmamatov was involved in inciting interregional enmity through social media. Pre-trial proceedings were started.
