At least 42 drunk drivers have been detained in Bishkek for seven days. The Department of the Patrol Police Service of the capital reported.
According to its data, 5,014 violations of traffic rules were detected. At least 11 people drove tinted cars, 23 drivers without driving licenses were stopped, two were fined for driving with fake state number plates, 157 pedestrians and cyclists were fined. Some 4,779 other violations were registered. As many as 255 vehicles were impounded.
The patrol police officers ask citizens to strictly observe the traffic rules for the sake of their safety.
