Authorized capital of Aiyl Bank to be increased to $100 million

Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov got acquainted with the plans for the development of Aiyl Bank. Press service of the Cabinet reported.

At the year-end 2021, the bank’s assets amounted to more than 41 billion soms, which is 10 billion more than in 2020. In 2021, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to capitalize the bank by 2.5 billion soms. As a result, the authorized capital of the bank at the end of 2021 amounted to 5.5 billion soms.

In accordance with the instructions of the head of the Cabinet, in 2022 it is planned to increase the authorized capital to $100 million.

At the meeting, Akylbek Japarov was told about the current activities and development prospects of the financial institution, a development plan for the bank until 2026 for lending to the agricultural sector up to 200 billion soms was presented.

«Aiyl Bank should become a locomotive for the development of the agro-industrial complex. Agricultural producers should be provided with affordable low-interest loans. We have to ensure the dynamic development of clusters of the agricultural sector, ensuring food security,» Akylbek Japarov said.

During the meeting, issues of capitalization of the financial institution, the introduction of banking products to attract deposits from compatriots working abroad were discussed.
