Consul General of Kyrgyzstan in Kazakhstan Nazarali Aripov met with the detained citizens of Kyrgyzstan in Almaty. He informed 24.kg news agency about it.
According to the consul, as a result of the negotiations, the Kazakh side promised to release the detained four citizens in the coming days.
«As of today, Zakir Yuburov, 30, A. Khurov, 29, I. Macho, 35, and A. Jinshanlo, 21, are in special facilities in Almaty. I met with them personally,» he said.
The Consulate General continues to work on providing consular and legal assistance, organizing the evacuation of Kyrgyzstanis staying in Almaty and the consular district of Almaty, Zhambyl, Kyzylorda and Turkestan regions.
It is worth noting that Kazakhstan officially confirmed the detention of five citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in Almaty. The day before, the well-known musician Vikram Ruzakhunov was released.
