Entrepreneurs held a rally near the building of the Government House in Bishkek.
About 80 people took part in the protest. They oppose the mandatory installation of cash registers.
«We are worried that introduction of the new Tax Code will have a negative impact. First of all, products will rise in price, then the business will start dying. When we are told that there will be no tax rate at 8 percent, this is not true. Authorities begin to charge funds from the turnover. This is much higher than the profit,» an entrepreneur Emil Ashimbaev told 24.kg news agency.
Earlier it was reported that sellers of Dordoi Dyikan market also held a rally today. They also oppose introduction of cash registers. According to them, after the installation of cash registers, entrepreneurs will be forced to raise prices for their goods.
