Ex-deputy of Parliament Baktybek Kalmamatov was placed in the temporary detention center of the State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS). Representative of Kalmamatov, Aiym Kamchibekova, told 24.kg news agency.
According to her, Baktybek Kalmamatov is suspected of inciting inter-regional hatred.
«Baktybek Kalmamatov was placed in the temporary detention facility of the State Committee for National Security for two days until a measure of restraint is chosen,» Aiym Kamchibekova said.
Baktybek Kalmamatov was escorted off the aircraft at Manas airport and taken to the SCNS last night. The former MP wanted to go abroad to perform the Umrah.
