Kyrgyzstan wants to establish twinning relationship with Azerbaijan. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Azerbaijan Kairat Osmonaliev announced at a press conference in Baku.
He met with journalists, summed up the results of the outgoing year, and told about the prospects for the development of Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani cooperation.
According to Kairat Osmonaliev, 21,000 Azerbaijanis live in Kyrgyzstan.
«We receive appeals for opening of Baku — Bishkek — Baku flight. We are negotiating this issue. We also want to establish twinning relations between the cities of Bishkek and Baku and implement the related process. We also propose to declare Osh and Shusha or Osh and Ganja as twin cities,» he said.
The Days of Culture of Kyrgyzstan will reportedly be held in Baku in 2022.
