The Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan and the Kazan Federal University will cooperate in the field of training and employment of migrants. Press service of the ministry reported.
The Minister of Labor of Kyrgyzstan Kudaibergen Bazarbaev and the rector of the Kazan Federal University Ilshat Gafurov signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
«According to our data, about 25,000-30,000 Kyrgyzstanis live in Tatarstan. The agreement will expand our cooperation. The Kyrgyzstanis who live in Tatarstan will be able to get the professions that are needed in this particular constituent unit of Russia. Although after Kyrgyzstan’s accession to the EAEU, our migrants do not need to pass the Russian language, history and fundamentals of Russian legislation exams, if they wish, they can improve their knowledge at the university,» Kudaibergen Bazarbaev noted.
Ilshat Gafurov noted that the Kazan Federal University is one of 14 federal universities that are allowed to teach Russian as a foreign language.
