The head of the Committee of the Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan for Defense and Security Kutbidin Burkhanov will head the group of international observers from the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly at the elections of deputies of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan. The press service of IPA reports.
According to it, a monitoring group is being formed from among the representatives of the national parliaments of the IPA CIS member states, staff of the Secretariat and experts of the International Institute for Monitoring Democracy Development of the IPA CIS.
Elections are scheduled for November 28 in Kyrgyzstan. At least 54 deputies of the Parliament are elected according to a proportional system (from open lists of candidates of political parties) in single electoral districts, 36 deputies are elected according to the majoritarian system in single-mandate constituencies.
