The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov, as part of a working trip to Jalal-Abad region, took part in the opening ceremony of two elevated bridges and Aral — Kazarman highway. Press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
These objects are part of an alternative North — South road and the construction contractor is China Road and Bridge Corporation. The length of the bridges is 1,076 and 396 meters, respectively. They are built using new and modern technologies and are located on Aral — Kazarman highway.
The Prime Minister thanked Kyrgyzzholtrans Design Institute, the government and the Embassy of the PRC, China Road and Bridge Corporation and all workers involved in the construction of the alternative North — South road.
«We are grateful to China for its assistance in the construction of such complex engineering structures, as well as to the local population for cooperation in this process. It is the roads that play an important role in the socio-economic development of the region. The alternative North — South route will have a significant impact on the development of the economy of the region and the republic as a whole,» he said.
For conscientious work and significant contribution to the socio-economic development of Kyrgyzstan, the Ambassador Du Dewen was awarded the Honorary Certificate of the Kyrgyz Republic, senior engineers of China Road and Bridge Corporation Ruslan Tukhtamatov and Azamat Uzubaliev — with the president’s watches.
The Director General of the China Road and Bridge Corporation in Kyrgyzstan, his deputy and project manager for the construction of the alternative North — South road were awarded the Honorary Diploma of the Cabinet of Ministers.
In addition, Akylbek Japarov got acquainted with the activities of the plant of Makmal Gold Company LLC.
