Opening ceremony of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan took place the day before within the framework of the official visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ruslan Kazakbaev to Italy. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy Marina Sereni stressed the importance of development of bilateral relations and bringing them to a new level.
The Italian side plans to open its diplomatic mission in Bishkek and enhance trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties with Kyrgyzstan.
In 2022, the countries will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, and a number of joint events are planned.
