Border incident: Condition of two injured Kyrgyzstanis critical but stable

Condition of two people injured during incident at the border with Uzbekistan is critical but stable. The Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan informed 24.kg news agency.

According to it, four victims are undergoing treatment in the polyclinic in Aidarken city, Batken region.

«Two citizens are in intensive care unit, their condition is critical but stable, the other two were hospitalized in the surgical department, they state is satisfactory,» the ministry said.

The day before, the First Deputy Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov met with injured residents of Batken region.

Another conflict on the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border occurred on May 31. It started with a skirmish between residents of the two villages. Each of the parties claimed that Chechme spring well belonged to them. Then the parties began to throw stones at each other. At least 25 citizens of Kyrgyzstan turned to hospital.
