Tenders for construction of schools funded by Saudi Development Fund announced

Design estimates for construction of 27 national schools financed by the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) have already been developed in Kyrgyzstan. Tenders for construction and installation works have been announced. State Secretary of the State Agency for Architecture, Construction, Housing and Utilities Samat Borubaev told today at a press conference.

According to him, in early 2019, the Government approved a project for the construction of the social facilities.

«In total, 2,158 billion soms have been allocated. At least 1,561.2 billion soms of the sum are provided for construction of 207 objects, 236.8 million soms — for overhaul. Other 350 million soms are planned to be spent on 73 water supply facilities, and 10 million soms — on designing the social facilities,» the state agency notes.

At present, 128 schools and sports halls, as well as 28 kindergartens, are under construction. At least 1,118.7 billion soms were allocated for these purposes.

He noted that by 2019, at least 96 objects would be built at the expense of the allocated funds, 87 of them have already been completed.

The state secretary also told about construction of a museum at Ata-Beyit memorial complex. «Excavation work, foundation and walls of the basement have been completed. Concrete work on the mounting of flights of stairs has been completed,» said Samat Borubaev.

The state agency plans to complete the facility before April 1, 2020.
