Bishkek hosts exhibition of artists from four countries

An exhibition of artists from four countries New Zhaz — 2019 takes place in Bishkek.

Representatives of Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan are among its participants. «The exhibited works give an understanding of the direction and development of current trends in painting, drawing, sculpture, decorative and applied art,» the organizers told.

Uzbekistan is represented by two painters — Erkin Aralov and Nodir Shoabdurakhimov, Kazakhstan — by Gulzhamal Tagenova, Russia — by Valery Bigdai. Kyrgyzstan is represented by five artists — Adylbek Baiterekov, Roza Dzhangaracheva, Duishon Zholchuev, Almaz Kudaibergenov and Zhyldyzbek Moldakhmatov.

«A joint exhibition is a very good idea. It is wonderful that the authors of different countries organized an exhibition together. We, artists, want to see more of our neighbors, to see how they work, what they work on, what topics they are interested in. As a result, you look at the pictures and see that the themes that excite them, excite us, too,» People’s Artist of Kyrgyzstan Yuristanbek Shygaev shared his impression from the exhibition.

The works can be seen at the Exhibition Hall of the Artists’ Union «Oak Park» named after Chuikov until May 7.
