Sooronbai Jeenbekov dissatisfied with process of digitization of Kyrgyzstan

President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov received his adviser Dastan Dogoev, Chairman of the State Committee for Information Technology and Communications Bakyt Sharshembiev and Director of the state-owned enterprise Center for Electronic Interaction Nuriya Kutnaeva today.

According to the press service of the head of state, measures and tasks for the development of digital transformation in Kyrgyzstan were discussed, as well as the implementation of decisions of the Security Council meeting on the digital development of the republic.

Bakyt Sharshembiev and Nuriya Kutnaeva told about the ongoing work in the development of information technology and digitization of the country.

At present, 47 state agencies (59 databases) are connected to Tunduk interdepartmental electronic interaction system, and data exchange between 16 state agencies is ensured.

Sooronbai Jeenbekov noted that the promotion of the digital foundations of the development of the republic was the main, priority direction.

«Digitization includes all spheres of life in the country, including the provision of public services, the provision of various certificates, document flow between state agencies, to facilitate the lives of our citizens. To do this, government agencies should review all processes, eliminate unnecessary bureaucratic delays and simplify regulations,» he stressed.

The President expressed his dissatisfaction with the implementation of the tasks of digitization of the country, ordered in the shortest possible time to eliminate all the shortcomings hindering the active development and implementation of digitization in all spheres of the Kyrgyz Republic.
