Kyrgyzstan is a brotherly and friendly country for Iran. The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Iran to the Kyrgyz Republic Ali Mojtaba Rouzbehani told at a press conference.
According to him, the foreign trade between the countries has significantly increased and amounted to more than $ 44 million in 2018, which indicates the strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation.
Kyrgyzstan has increased the supply of meat and beans to Iran. The head of the diplomatic mission assured that if some restrictions were lifted, the import of products from the Kyrgyz Republic would increase.
Iran also plans to develop cooperation with Kyrgyzstan in ensuring security and combating terrorism.
Ali Mojtaba Rouzbehani complained that there were no interbank relations between the two countries and businessmen would not invest their money in business in the Kyrgyz Republic until they are established. The diplomat supported opening of air traffic between Kyrgyzstan and Iran.
