Organizer of the rally against the Chinese expansion Amanbol Babakulov was fined 3,000 soms. The activist informed 24.kg news agency.
According to him, the police charged him with violation of procedure of holding peaceful assemblies.
«Disagreeing with the fine, I appealed to the court. The complaint will be considered by the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek on January 31,» Amanbol Babakulov told.
Recall, a protest against Chinese expansion was held in Bishkek on January 17. Representatives of the protesters were received by the Vice Speaker of the Parliament Mirlan Bakirov. They voiced him their demands. Police dispersed the protest. Some of the protesters were detained. The woman, who called to kill the Chinese, was placed in a pretrial detention center for 2 months.
