Kyrgyzstan is a monopolist of textile production in the market of the Eurasian Economic Union. The Minister for Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission Tatyana Valovaya told at a press conference.
According to her, Kyrgyzstan’s industrial output grew by 11.5 percent in 2017. At the end of 2018, the figure grew by other five percent. Having joined the EEU, the republic began to produce much more industrial products.
Each EEU country is a monopolist in the market of the Eurasian Economic Union in a particular area.

«This is not so noticeable in export, but the union works. We are negotiating with third countries, with the same China, which, when realizing that the window is being closed, I mean the borders of Kyrgyzstan, began to open different enterprises in the Kyrgyz Republic, mainly in garment industry. And this is an advantage. I think this is a step in the right direction,» Tatyana Valovaya stressed.
