Speaker of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan Dastan Dzhumabekov proposes to introduce Compulsory Motor Third Party Liability Insurance by 2021. He said this at a meeting today.
According to him, the introduction of CMTPLI in February will cause a great public outcry.
«If we do not have time or conditions, we can still postpone it. We have previously postponed the law on CMTPLI to 2019,» Dastan Dzhumabekov said.
Deputy Torobai Zulpukarov also proposed to introduce a moratorium on the introduction of CMTPLI for two years, as there were flaws in the law.
Earlier, the State Service for Regulation and Supervision over the Financial Market also proposed to delay the collection of fines for the absence of CMTPLI until July 1, 2019 in Kyrgyzstan.
